Mansfield's Book of Manly Men

There are few causes worthy enough to motivate me to dust off the old weblog, steal company time and write about something other than Fantasy Football. But here we are.

Stephen Mansfield has written a book that you must read. The 'you' in this sentence refers strictly to males reading this blog, no offense women, but this is the way it must be.

We are of a generation who have had father's that have failed us, refusing to impose accountability upon us, and left us to our own demise devices. And even if you do have an excellent father, as I do, we are quick to shirk responsibilities, make excuses, and slowly decay in front of video games, fantasy football and the internet. No more.

This book shows you how to be a man. It tells you what your father may not have. It is engaging, funny, convicting, empowering and direct. It pulls no punches, it fears not your reaction or your sensitivities. It calls you to action and sets you on your way.

You don't need anymore words. Read this book or die (figuratively speaking).

But seriously.
